What this statement covers
The Assessment and Learning (bksb) website. (bksbLIVE2.co.uk)
This product’s accessibility status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliances and exemptions listed below.
Non-compliance for Assessment and Learning (bksb)
The following elements are not currently at least WCAG compliant:
• Not all pages are navigable using only the keyboard. https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Understanding/keyboard.html. Digital Literacy Assessment content only: Not fixed yet. To be fixed before the end of 8/27.
• The focus order is not logical on a number of Assessment and Learning (bksb) pages. https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG22/Understanding/focus-order.html. Digital Literacy Assessment only: Not fixed yet. To be fixed before the end of 8/27.
Content, other than the Digital Literacy Assessment, was developed using older, embedded software frameworks. While we are unable to make this specific legacy content fully compliant with the WCAG 2.2 AA standard, we are actively working to replace the current application with a brand-new application. This new application is being built from the ground up to meet and exceed WCAG 2.2 AA standards. We will publish a formal update on the replacement schedule when a definite launch date is confirmed.

We are always working on improving our accessibility, however at times we are limited by what technologies are available to us. These will be highlighted within this policy.
